 ABOUT B.SC AGRICULTURE

B.Sc. in Agriculture allows graduates to work in different departments of agriculture ranging from technical aspects to business prospects and from production to sales. India has relied heavily on agriculture for its economy in the past. It is a 4-year program and offers various topics related to different types of agricultural practices and their benefits. This course is work-intensive and has an engaging program that encourages students to explore more. 

ELIGIBILITY

 Course level B.Sc - Low grade 

 Duration -4 years 

 Type of exam: semester system 

 Eligibility-10 + 2 

 Admission process: consultancy after taking the entrance exam Minimum age -17 years 

 Minimum percentage - 50%

  Required subjects -10 + 2 with Chemistry, Physics and Biology / Agriculture or equivalent 


  B.Sc Agriculture admission process The admission process to the Agriculture degree course takes place in two ways, either on the basis of the qualification exam marks or on the basis of a written exam conducted by a university or institute particular offering the degree. Some colleges provide direct admission to agriculture degree based on merit and personal interview, and some colleges conduct national, state, or university level entrance exams to admit interested students. The candidate must bring their documents and originals at the time of admission. They must complete all required details and submit the form before the deadlines. Towards colleges that grant admission based on an entrance exam, approximately 60% of age is awarded to grades obtained in the entrance exam, and 40% of age is awarded to grades obtained in 10+ 2. Throughout the process, one can gain admission for Bachelor of Agriculture at renowned universities.
